My 15 year old son and I were delving into a science topic that he had, which was microscopic life. We found this video, which led to something unexpected and quite exciting. By that time, the other kids came into the room, wanting to know what was so exciting online. We were about to learn of a buried city from history that the archaeologist's uncovered. Please follow this short and informative trail; you’ll be glad you did. This was truly a "homeschool moment" !

Helike was an ancient Greek city that sank at night in the winter of 373 BC. The city was located in Achaea, Northern Peloponnesos, two kilometres (12 stadia) from the Corinthian Gulf. The related city of Boura was located nearby.
