WHAT ARE FACT TRIANGLES ?

My boys have been using these fact triangles, although the other kids will also use them from time to time.  If  you  haven't seen the before, check this out.  They are printable math facts, and they are printed on a triangular shaped paper.  It's supposed to be a fast and fun way to recite and learn math facts. If you print out duplicate copies, you can play a memory game with them, too.  Whoever gets the match and cites a math fact, gets to keep the cards.  If not, someone else gets a turn at it.  You an also use "markers" like beans or macaroni for younger children who are learning to do the problems on the fact triangles.  Just get creative with them, but do check them out !  You'll be glad you did.  Also, I'm going to include a few  math website links below the ones for the triangles, because they have related topics ~ interactive online math games for skip counting and the multiplication tables.

As always, have fun and enjoy !
